Scholarship Zone has a free $10K scholarship drawing. To apply, you just need to be a resident of the United States and at least 18 years old. An easy, one-page registration form is all you have to fill out to enter the scholarship drawing. Register as soon as possible so you won’t miss the next deadline.
You may also want to consider the Writing Center Fellowship that Coe College provides for students. The fellowship gives winners $1K per year for 4 years. The minimum ACT score is a 22 and proof of need of financial aid is also required.
Another scholarship opportunity is provided by the Alliance for Young Writers and Artists. You are eligible to apply for this scholarship if you attend the Lake Forest College in Illinois. Applicants can also submit works of non-ficion and poetry as well.
